Lanna Thai is proudly owned and operated by the Singard family, originally from Chiang Rai, Thailand — a culturally rich region in Northern Thailand, famously known as the “Golden Triangle,” where Thailand, Laos, and Burma meet.

With deep roots in the hospitality industry both in Thailand and here in the South Bay Area, our family brings decades of experience and a genuine passion for Thai cuisine. Before opening Lanna Thai, we spent many years working in several well-loved Thai restaurants across the region, building a foundation of culinary excellence and warm customer care.

The interior of Lanna Thai reflects our heritage and creativity, designed by our family and showcasing original artwork that brings a piece of Northern Thailand to San Jose. Our chef has attended top culinary schools in Thailand, and our skilled kitchen team brings over 20 years of experience, preparing authentic Thai dishes perfected through generations.

Our menu features cherished family recipes, handed down through time, with plans to continue expanding our offerings. Every item is available for dine-in, take-out, and catering — always crafted with care and traditional flavors.
